Wheel Spacer Installation Steps

Step 1: Gather Tools and Materials
Required tools: lug wrench, torque wrench, jack stands, and a jack.
Ensure you have the correct wheel spacers compatible with your vehicle.

Step 2: Prepare the Vehicle
Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake to prevent movement.
Loosen the lug nuts on the wheels where you plan to install the spacers, but do not remove them completely at this stage.

Step 3: Lift the Vehicle
Use a jack to lift the vehicle off the ground.
Secure it with jack stands to ensure safety during the installation.

Step 4: Remove the Wheels
Take off the lug nuts and remove the wheels from the hub.

Step 5: Clean the Hub Surface
Clean the area of the hub where the spacer will be installed to remove dirt, rust, or debris for a proper fit.

Step 6: Install the Wheel Spacers
Align the wheel spacer with the bolt holes on the hub and press it into place.
Tighten the provided bolts/nuts that secure the spacer to the hub, following the manufacturer's torque specifications.

Step 7: Reinstall the Wheels
Place the wheel back onto the hub, aligning it with the spacer's bolt holes.
Hand-tighten the lug nuts.

Step 8: Torque the Lug Nuts
Using a torque wrench, tighten the lug nuts to the manufacturer's recommended torque specification in a star pattern to ensure even tightening.

Step 9: Lower the Vehicle
Carefully lower the vehicle back to the ground.

Step 10: Final Inspection
Perform a final check on all lug nuts and spacer mounting bolts to ensure they are securely tightened.

Step 11: Test Drive
Take the vehicle for a short test drive to ensure everything feels stable and secure.
Recheck the lug nut torque after the test drive to ensure they remain tight.
